Hands-On with Modulus X

Join us on Saturday, July 12th at 1355 Fewster Drive in Mississauga, Ontario, for an intimate hands-on experience with Modulus X, innovative modular truss. We’ll have demonstrations, workshops, and networking throughout the event, including:
  • An Overhead 360 Rig mounted on a car
  • A Side-mounted Rainbow Rig on a car
  • A Standalone Rainbow Rig
  • A Mod X Lightbox
This will be a full day indoor and outdoor event, broken into multiple sections. After registering (below), participants will have the option to attend the morning or afternoon session (or both).  To allow for ample space to build, the majority of the event will be held outside (weather permitting), so please prepare and dress accordingly. Participants will have the opportunity to work hands on with experienced local Key Grips to build Mod X truss and rig to a vehicle. 
 
Moss LED will also be on display and have staff available to answer questions and give demonstrations on their flexible lighting solutions. Plus, you’ll have even more to explore with these top brands on display: A wide range of Moss LED lighting products, along with ARRI, Atlas Lenses, Avenger, Camgear, CORE SWX, Deity, DJI, DZO, Hollyland, Laowa, Nanlux, Matthews, Modern Studio, Sennheiser, Shape, Sigma, Small HD, Sony, Tiffen, Tilta, Tokina, Vaxis, and more.
 
SetReady Rentals, Modulus X, and local Key Grips will be here to share their knowledge and answer any questions you may have.
 

Morning Session

  • 9am Participants get hands on building two Modulus X rigs
  • 12:30pm Regroup and Discussion
  • 1pm Lunch break

Afternoon Session

  • 12:30pm Registration (Afternoon session)
  • 1pm Seminar: How to Use Mod X & Overview of Today’s Rigs
  • 1:30pm Participants get hands on building two Modulus X rigs (different from AM rigs)
  • 5pm Regroup and Discussion

FAQ
Can I just drop in or do I have to register? Can I bring other people?

All guests must register (individually) for the event.

The list will continuously be updated on our social media and on the Event page, but the Nanlux 5000B will be the highlight.

All are welcome to attend the event. Please ensure that all members of your group register prior to attending.

All guests are welcome to join us anytime during the event. We suggest getting there early to ensure you have enough time to see and demo everything. Certain workshops and demonstrations will have specific times- stay tuned to our social media for exact info. 

Anyone who is in, or interested in, the content creation, film, and TV industry.
